While many people can name the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels football program, and also name his girlfriend, there hasn't been that much focus on the football itself this offseason.
Since taking over in Chapel Hill, legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick has brought a tsunami of attention to the team, but quite a bit of it has been uncalled for and unwanted. The latest announcement that Belichick made to the team was more of the same.
Ahead of UNC's kick-off against the TCU Horned Frogs in Week 1, Belichick shared that an inside look at the Tar Heels' program would be available on Hulu...
"There was a lot of interest in doing a season-long documentary or season-long show about North Carolina football," Belichick said. "This is about the UNC football program; there is obviously a lot of interest in it, and it'll stream on Hulu later this fall."
Excited to showcase our program this fall on @hulu.

Yes, Belichick is one of the most successful football coaches of all time, securing six Super Bowl rings as a head coach and two as an assistant. However, he is entirely unproven at the collegiate level and has yet to coach a game with the Heels.
Yet, fans and experts are already hyping up the program, which has struggled greatly in the past, simply because Belichick is the head coach.
This Hulu special is just another distraction from the players, the game, and the team itself... It's happening because Belichick is at the helm. The UNC head coach desperately needs to turn the spotlight away from himself and toward the players who make the team a... well, team.
UNC and TCU are scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 1, in what will be Belichick's debut at the college level. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPNU (not on Hulu).
