Skylar Robinson has been a verbal commitment to UNC football since February and that doesn't look to change despite overtures from other programs.

The 2027 wide receiver prospect from California has an older brother on the roster, Jason Robinson Jr. and he already appears to be all in with the Tar Heels. His social media account is roughly 95% updates about UNC football.

Robinson talked more about his commitment to with Caleb Sisk from North Carolina Tar Heels on SI and continues to pump up the Tar Heels.

"My commitment so far has been great," Robinson said, "I've been with all the coaches about the same amount. Even when I went up there this past Monday, they all came up to me and showed love."

Robinson added that he'll be back on campus for the Clemson game on October 4th, but he would not disclose the other schools that continue to recruit him. Past recruiting updates on Robinson had him with offers from Washington, Utah, Cal, Colorado and a host of other schools.

Will 2026 recruiting class reach 40 commits?

Currently, the Tar Heels 2026 recruiting class has 37 commits and ranked 17th overall according to 247Sports. Most of the class is done and locked in, but there will be a lot of openings on the roster in 2026 and the opportunity to add additional players to the class remains present.

One of those players is three-star cornerback Mason Lewis.

Lewis was recently offered by UNC and there's a very good chance he will make an official visit to the campus in the upcoming weeks. The Arizona prospect was previously committed to Cal. Lewis has also taken official visits to Minnesota, Kansas State and Vanderbilt.
