The Bananas will take on the Texas Tailgaters on April 11 and 12. Football will be a painful memory at that point, but perhaps Tar Heel fans will still be on an emotional high from winning the national championship five days prior. One can hope, at least.

In addition to the hijinks and celebrities, the Bananas can certainly show some skill on the diamond, with plenty of pop in their bats and web gems galore. If you're in Chapel Hill this spring, you should definitely sign up for the ticket lottery to win a chance to see a sporting spectacle in Kenan Stadium. The fun over two nights should be enough to wipe away some of the pain and anguish of this season, though even the Bananas aren't strong enough to do a Men in Black memory wipe.
