When was UNC's last NCAA Tournament Title?
The UNC Tar Heels lost in the National Championship Game after the 2021-22 season, but we don't need to go too far back to find the last time they were able to win it all.
UNC won the National Championship after the 2016-2017 season, beating Gonzaga in the NCAA Tournament Final by a final score of 71-65. They took down No. 3 Oregon in the Final Four, narrowly beating them by a final score of 77-76.
UNC has won six total national championships in college basketball, the third most in the country behind UCLA (11) and Kentucky (8).
