UNC women's basketball commit Jordan Zubich had a 46-point outburst in an 82-66 win on December 18.

Fans of the UNC women's basketball program got a taste of what's to come next season as Jordan Zubich scored 46 points in an 82-66 win for her team. The senior guard averages 27.5 points per game which is the highest in Minnesota and 33rd in the country for women's basketball.

Zubich's Mountain-Iron Buhl Rangers are off to a 9-1 start in 2023. The team goes as far as she will take them, as she only scored nine points in their only loss. Zubich averages around 30 points per game in the nine MIB wins this season, including the season-high 46 on Monday night against Esko.

Zubich has been on a tear lately, as she's scored 35, 30, 30, and 46 points respectively in her last four games. Her team as won by an average of 22 points in those last four games. She takes around 19 shots per game and shoots 48% from the field and 50% from three. Zubich gets to the line at an exceptional rate and converts 81% of her free throws.

The 5-foot-11 guard committed to North Carolina on February 12 of this year. According to Inside Carolina, she also received offers from Utah, Creighton, Ohio State, Minnesota, and Nebraska. Her 27.5 points per game in 2023 is her highest high school career average. Zubich has played varsity basketball since seventh grade in 2018-19, so she's loaded with competitive experience.

Jordan Zubich was the second commit in Courtney Banghart's 2024 recruiting class, joining five-star recruit Blanca Thomas out of Charlotte, North Carolina. According to ESPN, Zubich is the 68th-ranked recruit in the 2024 recruiting class, while the UNC women's basketball program currently holds the No. 18th-ranked class for the 2024 cycle.
