We do expect this process to go quickly because no matter who is the next UNC Football Defensive Coordinator, they will be tasked with getting to campus and preparing for spring practice very soon.
And, of course, there could be plenty of other potential candidates and names that Mack Brown and the Tar Heels have in mind for the next defensive coordinator. However, one thing is for sure: After five seasons of mediocre defense in Chapel Hill, this hire is about as important as it gets for Brown and the future of the UNC Football program.
