UNC fans need this new RJ Davis shirt from BreakingT
North Carolina guard RJ Davis has solidified himself as one of the program's best scorers of all-time. After defeating NC State on Saturday, Davis moved into the top 10 in UNC history for points scored.
This came just one game after he scored a career-high 42 points and broke the Dean Smith Center's record for points in a game.
He's just 74 points away from 2,000 in his career with at least three games remaining before the NCAA Tournament (two in the regular season, at least one in the ACC Tournament). So that seems like an absolute lock.
Davis played a significant role for the Tar Heels from the moment he arrived in 2020, but has seen a dramatic rise in his three-point shooting percentage this season. His previous high was 36.7 percent, which he set during the 2021-22 season. But this year he's all the way up to 41.1 percent.
