As all UNC Basketball fans are surely aware of by now, country-music star Eric Church is one of the most well-known celebrities who is an avid North Carolina fan, always showing up to support the Tar Heels in person when he can. He has even been known to cancel a concert to attend the Duke-North Carolina Final Four game in 2022.

Church was once again in attendance for the UNC Basketball game versus Oklahoma at the Jumpman Invitational on Wednesday evening and sitting on the baseline adjacent to the Tar Heel bench. To his left sat Wanda Williams and Roy Williams.

While ESPN did not directly show Church during the television broadcast, he was recognized during a media timeout break inside the Spectrum Center for being in attendance. When they showed him on the jumbotron, there was a loud round of applause, and as with everything else surrounding the game that evening, there was a tribute to Eric Montross to be found, because, of course there was.

In Adam Lucas' Rapid Reactions article following the 81-69 victory, he noted that several former UNC Basketball players were in attendance along with Church. Lucas pointed out that the shirt Church was wearing read "See Ya Later Big Grits" on the front while having "Montross" on the back and his famous double zeros.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Montross family as they venture through this very difficult time of their lives.
