UNC Basketball: ACC Men's Basketball rankings for the week of January 15

Spoiler: The Miami Hurricanes have a winning record in conference play and are lower than two other teams that don't. However, while picking up wins is important, avoiding bad losses is equally as important.
The Hurricanes didn't do that this past week, dropping a home game to Louisville in which they were a 17-point favorite. Miami was able to bounce back and pick up a road victory over Virginia Tech, however, it wasn't enough to keep them from falling three spots from No. 5 in last week's rankings.
Miami will host rival Florida State, who appears to be finding their groove, winning four in a row, and then will travel to Syracuse. Two wins would move the Hurricanes back up, and 1-1 is necessary to hold onto this spot in the ranking next week.
