The UNC basketball program's coaching staff made another important in-state visit
With recruiting season back in full swing, head coach Hubert Davis made a firm statement of intent, bringing assistants Sean May and Brad Frederick with him to visit Braylon Mullins, a star class of 2025 shooting guard, in Greenfield, Indiana.

According to legend, all Indiana kids are born shooting the rock, so it's no surprise to see Coach Davis prioritizing the 6-foot-5 sharpshooter. Over the summer, while playing AAU ball on the Adidas circuit with Indiana Elite, Mullins shot a scintillating 41.7% from long-range. He has a compact, quick, and highly repeatable shooting motion that point guards should dream about locating in the corner. He's exactly what the UNC basketball program needs when RJ Davis exhausts his eligibility after this season.

The UNC basketball program is one of ten finalists for Braylon Mullins's services next season, but they are competing against the cream of the crop. He is a high enough priority for Hubert Davis to bring the entire coaching staff with him to visit Mullins in his high school gym, despite his official visit to Chapel Hill being this weekend.
It will take tremendous effort to get a commitment from Mullins. Hopefully, he had some excellent conversations with Hubert Davis and the team, which will dovetail nicely with a visit to Blue Heaven. A Saturday evening with the team in Kenan Stadium watching the Tar Heels beat up on NC Central and some pick-up in the Dean Dome certainly can't hurt.
