Red flags abound as the UNC football program grinds out a win over their only FCS opponent of the season.

Omarion Hampton is still a beast

You'd forgive Tar Heel fans for having heart palpitations when Omarion Hampton was taken out of the Charlotte game. After yesterday's game, you'd say that was evidence of Mack Brown simply having an abundance of caution, not of any serious injury to his workhorse running back.

Hampton ran for 210 yards on 25 carries for three touchdowns. Sheesh! He was giving the Eagles a little bit of everything. Power running, making men miss, beating them to the edge, jumping over them, putting his shoulder into their chest. He even dragged piles like Spike Hammers from Little Giants.

North Carolina's offensive attack may not be in its final form (the quarterback is still in flux), but there is one constant. Treasure every moment you get to watch Omarion Hampton in Tar Heel Blue. This is the last season you'll get to do it.
