Lessons Learned from the UNC football program's victory over NC Central

Red flags abound as the UNC football program grinds out a win over their only FCS opponent of the season.

The UNC football program is 3-0. This is true. Doesn't feel that great, though.

The Tar Heels were able to overpower NC Central through Omarion Hampton and a stout defense. That defense couldn't stop itself from shooting itself in the foot repeatedly, though, accumulating 10 first-half penalties.

Extending drives like that is survivable against a MEAC team. If the UNC football program plays that undisciplined against an ACC team, you're likely looking at a loss, and a potentially heavy one. Let's look at some lessons learned in an edgy win over the NC Central Eagles.
