Four-star Class of 2025 quarterback Bryce Baker put on an impressive performance at the Elite 11 finals, one of the nation's most prestigious football camps for high school quarterbacks.

Baker, who committed to the UNC football program in June 2023, is the first UNC quarterback to make the Elite 11 finals since Drake Maye. The six-foot-two quarterback put together some exciting numbers in his day three performance, completing 19 of 25 passes for five touchdowns in the 7v7 portion of the event after a slow start on days one and two.

Andrew Ivins of 247Sports ranked Baker No. 7 in his quarterback rankings for day one of the event but had great things to say about the young talent.

"Baker was one of the bigger surprises. A dual-threat talent with a muscular upper half, Baker flashed the ability to touch all different corners of the field. He might not have been the most consistent passer, but he was one of the best when it came to getting outside of the pocket and throwing on the run as he finishes with a few dimes."

His performance in the Elite 11 finals is excellent news for the Tar Heels. Baker has been steadily improving his game since announcing his commitment to the UNC football program in the summer of 2023, and his camp performance confirms that.

In 2023, Baker had the best season of his high school career, throwing for over 3,000 yards with 39 touchdowns and just three interceptions as a junior. He also added 233 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Already ranked as the No. 21 quarterback in the country by On3, Baker should continue to improve his game in his final season at East Forsyth High School during the 2024 season before arriving in Chapel Hill in 2025.
