Former UNC Football quarterback Drake Maye inks deal with CAA Football
Expected to be one of the top picks in this year's NFL Draft, UNC Football quarterback Drake Maye has signed with CAA Football to be his NFL Representation.

As the 2024 NFL Draft quickly approaches there is more discussion around the question everyone wants the answer to: Who will be the No. 1 overall pick?
Former UNC Football quarterback Drake Maye hopes to hear his name called and is one of a select few players in this year's draft to have a chance at being the top selection. Now that it is inching closer to draft day and players beginning their professional careers, that also means finding an agent for representation.
Choosing the right agent can be critical for a professional athlete who knows who they are and what they want so that when it comes time to negotiate and advocate for them, they can to the best of their ability. Maye recently signed with a sports agency that he has worked with in the past and represented some of the top athletes in the NFL.

Maye signed with CAA Sports to be his NFL representative. An agency with prior experience with the talent quarterback, as he signed with them in the fall of 2022 to handle his NIL representation during his collegiate experience.
CAA Sports has some impressive numbers to show off their talent level:
- 84 first-round draft picks since 2011
- 151 Top 100 selections since 2008
- 153 Pro Bowl Selections since 2015
- 6 Rookies of the Year since 2010
They currently represents 141 players in the NFL, including Josh Allen, Joey Bosa, Derrick Henry, Justin Jefferson, and the 2023 NFL Draft No. 1 Pick, Bryce Young.
With Drake Maye signing with this great agency, it can become a realistic possibility of him becoming the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft. Regardless of the draft position Maye is selected though, he is set up for success with great representation to advocate for him throughout his professional career.
