Strap in folks. The latest chapter in the UNC and Duke rivalry is set to take place tonight and this edition of the game is a big one with the ACC regular season championship is on the line.

UNC (16-3) will clinch sole possession of the regular season title with a win tonight. Duke is right behind them entering tonight with a 15-4 record, meaning a win for the Blue Devils will give them a share of the ACC regular season title.

If that is how tonight plays out, we will need to wait for the results from other ACC matchups to see which team wins the tiebreaker that would result in them earning the No. 1 spot in the upcoming conference tournament.

In this article, we're going to talk about player props. There are two players I'm targeting to have a big game tonight against the Blue Devils and I'm willing to back them with my money. First, let's take a peak at the odds to win tonight's game.

Best player props for UNC vs. Duke

  • Armando Bacot OVER 14.5 points
  • Harrison Ingram OVER 9.5 rebounds

Armando Bacot OVER 14.5 points

The weakness of Duke's defense is its interior. It's going to be tough to score from the perimeter against the Blue Devils, but they rank just 119th in the country in opponent two-point field goal percentage, allowing teams to shoot 49.1% from that area.

That's why we should be targeting UNC's forwards to have a big game today. Specifically, I'm going to target Armando Bacot to go OVER his points total of 14.5. He's averaging 14.0 points per game this season, but he was the game's leading scorer when these two teams played last month, recording 25 points going 10-of-13 from the field.

I expect a repeat performance from Bacot in today's rematch.

Harrison Ingram OVER 9.5 rebounds

In the same vein as betting on the first game's leading scorer to go over his point total today, I'm also going to bet on the first game's leading rebounder to go over their rebounding total in the rematch.

Harrison Ingram grabbed 13 boards against Duke the last time out, continuing the trend of UNC's forwards being the most key positions in this rivalry matchup. He has also been hot on the boards of late, grabbing at least 10 rebounds in five of his last six games including recording 14 boards against Notre Dame earlier this week.

I don't think it's a big ask for him to record 10 tonight.
