North Carolina travels to Western New York to take on Syracuse in Tuesday night ACC action.

You can read our game preview for this one here, but this article is going to focus on player props for this conference meeting, mainly around UNC big man Armando Bacot, who may be in for a massive game against a Syracuse team that has been terrible at keeping the opposition off the glass.

Best Player Props for North Carolina vs. Syracuse

  • Armando Bacot OVER 9.5 Rebounds
  • Harrison Ingram OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made

Armando Bacot OVER 9.5 Rebounds

Bacot dominated in the first meeting, securing 11 rebounds to go with his 16 points. I like him to rack up the rebounds again against a hapless Syracuse frontcourt.

The Orange are one of the worst rebounding teams in the country, 320th in terms of total rebounding percentage, and will struggle to keep Bacot, one of the best in the country away from misses. The senior big man is fourth in ACC defensive rebounding rate while playing 77% of available minutes.

Given that this game is set to be up-tmepo with plenty of possessions, I'll count on him to flirt with a double double yet again.

Harrison Ingram OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made

The Stanford transfer is still shooting 42% from beyond the arc this season despite some conference play struggles from 3-point range. He is shooting only 37% from 3 in league play, but is getting plenty of opportunities, taking about five per game.

Further, Ingram is still flirting with this mark, hitting at lesat two 3s in five straight games while playing north of 30 minutes in all of them. Syracuse is going to try and turn this game into a track meet and pressure the ball, but that should open up plenty of looks from the perimeter where the team is dead last in ACC three-point percentage allowed.

I'll take a flier on Ingram to clear his 3-point prop and go for the alternate total in a game with a total nearing 160.
