The North Carolina football program had perhaps its worst special teams effort in school history against James Madison. The Dukes pulled out a full house of special teams' pain last week. They scored on a two-point conversion after their first touchdown, recovered an onside kick, and scored a touchdown off of a blocked punt.

The repetitive special teams body blows made the UNC football program feel like the hysterical lady on Airplane!

Any repeat of last week's special teams performance would be unacceptable. Mack Brown knows this. Special teams coordinator Larry Porter knows this. The UNC football team will surely be ready to execute to the level needed to win an ACC game.

If not, it's time to have a different conversation.
