In the final tune-up before ACC play, expect the UNC football program to get its offense into third gear.

North Carolina will score on its first drive

Last season, the North Carolina football program scored a touchdown on its first drive of the game five times. This season, the UNC football program has not scored any points on the opening drive of any of its three games.

Whether Chip Lindsey needs to script better or the team needs to execute, the time is now for the Tar Heels to get off to a better start. Assuming Criswell is the starter, the senior quarterback has look less bothered than Harrell during live action. That matters, because nervousness (or panic, in a worst case scenario) spreads through the team.

Look for the UNC football program to play within themselves, play to their strengths, and put together a methodical, mistake-free drive to start the game. I'm not ready to say it will end with a touchdown just yet, but it will at least lead to points.
