Jarin's Breakout?
I have given Jarin Stevenson the title of honorary Leaky Black on several occasions. It is meant to be a compliment, but if I'm 100% honest, it can be seen as a back-handed compliment. He does a lot of the things Hubert Davis needs someone to do to help the team win... except score.
Last night, he scored a UNC career-high 16 points against SMU and hit 3-of-4 three-pointers after not hitting a triple since the Georgetown game. He did not hit a trey in five straight games prior to busting out against the Mustangs.

That stroke is there, and with the attention that Caleb Wilson and Henri Veesaar attract in the post, it's imperative that Stevenson can confidently hit these shots in ACC play. Otherwise, you're going to see more nights like last night, where it looks like Wilson and Veesaar are dragging a 747 jet behind them. Speaking of which...
