The UNC football program has won two games in a row in ACC play. Who thought we'd be able to say those words after the pant sing received at the hands of Clemson, followed by near misses against Cal and Virginia? But a previously leaky defense, now turned airtight, is allowing a Tar Heel offense still in search of its top playmakers to get by enough to win games.

Stanford is even worse than UNC, but the Tar Heels still needed to do the little things correctly to pull out the win. With momentum creeping into Kenan Stadium, North Carolina could mess around and become bowl eligible with a familiar rogues gallery of in-state teams remaining on the schedule.
