Sharing is Caring

In the first half, it may not have seemed like UNC was interested in sharing the rock, with Caleb Wilson having an outsized hand in the team's output. Wilson nearly had a first-half double-double, scoring 17 points and pulling down nine rebounds.

But the team was moving the ball well, partly because it's the right thing to do, but partly because NC Central's mix of 2-3 and 1-3-1 zone forced Carolina to move the ball quickly to take advantage of double teams. UNC's first 12 made field goals were all assisted, and the streak was only broken when Jaren Stevenson missed a three-point attempt that Veesaar dunked home. Alas, that does not count as an assist for Stevenson.

Kyan Evans was the lead distributor with seven assists against a single turnover, and nine Tar Heels had at least one dime. Christmas isn't all that close, but UNC seems to be in the holiday giving mood already.
