It was a tough game for the undersized Tar Heel center. Len-Allen Lubin had a four-inch deficit to make up with Efton Reid, and the Demon Deacon senior, playing in his last game, made life difficult for the uber efficient Lubin.

Lubin is shooting 69.9% from the field this season, but against Wake Forest's tall front line (and frequent fouls underneath that weren't called) he shot 4/12 from the field, a far cry from what UNC fans have grown accustomed to.

No matter.

When the game was on the line, he came alive, punching two powerful dunks while playing with four fouls, including finishing this ice cold alley-oop from Elliot Cadeau:

Lubin finished the game with 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, each one of them important in such a tight game. It was fortunate that Lubin had practice against a tall front court, because he'll be back in the salt mines against Duke tomorrow.
