Gene Chizik would have said that was bad defense

As mentioned earlier, Boston College came into this contest as the second-lowest scoring team in the ACC at 69.4 points per game. They came into Chapel Hill and put up 96 points.
UNC couldn't stop the Eagles, either from driving baseline or bombing from three. Boston College improved their shooting percentages in the second half from 55.2% from the floor (55.6% from three) to 56.7% from the floor (66.7% from three). The Eagles hit 14/24 threes in the game. It is a miracle UNC came out on top!
Carolina's front court struggled to contain the bulk and power of Chad Venning, and Jalen Washington got torched by the speed and finesse of Jayde Hastings, who scored on Jalen Washington on three straight possessions. Washington couldn't get help because his guards couldn't abandon BC's hot three-point shooters.
No hyperbole... This is genuinely a top five worst defensive performance I can remember form a Carolina team.

And I was a student during 8-20.
This defense is not repeatable. Hubert Davis will have to make adjustments, and individual players need to take a long look in the mirror to make sure this doesn't happen again. Pitt, Duke, Pitt will be ugly viewing if UNC defends like they did against Boston College.
