Florida's size causes UNC too many problems

The UNC basketball program has a size problem, and it continues to be exploited by SEC giants. Florida put their superior size to work for them, winning the battle of the boards 46-36, and they had 16 offensive rebounds, punishing the Tar Heels by keeping possessions alive and getting points after initial stops. Three times during the game, Florida grabbed a rebound after missing a free throw.

Those are absolute run killers.

One other aspect where Florida's size punished UNC was with fouls. North Carolina had three more fouls than Florida, but the Gators shot eight more free throws than the Tar Heels. UNC had to foul Florida as they made their way to the basket. Florida mostly slapped Tar Heels along the perimeter.
