RJ Davis and Seth Trimble played all 20 minutes in the second half. Can you guess who had the third most minutes?

If you said freshman forward Drake Powell, then you'd be wrong. Jalen Washington had two minutes more, but In a game where all of the posts were struggling, Powell had a chance to use his length and quickness to shore up some of the penetration issues North Carolina was facing.

Dayton was three-crazy in the second half, hitting 7/14 of their three-pointers. Powell helped bother these shooters and had two steals to help get the desperately needed possessions to fuel UNC's comeback.

Offensively, he only hit two shots, but they were huge.

In the second half, Powell had the third-highest +/- rating of +16, better than Jalen Washington's +15, Jae'Lyn Withers's +5 and Cade Tyson's -1. Powell may be carving out more minutes for himself in the very near future.
