The Tar Heels had five players score in double figures against Virginia, four of them starters. As a team, Carolina cooled down a bit after a blistering first half (56% field goals, 75% three-point shooting), but it didn't feel like the offense got bogged down as much as it did with the four-guard line-up.

North Carolina swung the ball around and the hot hands got the ball through the hoop. Repeatedly.

With RJ Davis not providing the kind of Allen Iverson-esque season we may have been counting on, it's nice to see that UNC can fan out the scoring responsibility from all levels. Threes may not fall like this for the rest of the season, but the threat of it, especially from Jae'Lyn Withers (more on him in a second), will give the entire team better looks, as defenses have to play honest and not hone in on one scorer.
