Tyler Bilodeau is the kind of big UNC needs

Tyler Bilodeau--the Oregon State transfer--was a Tar Heel slayer, dominating UNC from the opening tip. He scored UCLA's first 11 points with a couple of three-pointers, some classy post work, and a free throw.

At 6-foot-9, 230 pounds, Bilodeau is the closest facsimile I've seen to Brady Manek. So far this season, he's shooting 35% from three, but he was 5/6 from beyond the arc against the Tar Heels. His skillset would benefit North Carolina's floor spacing and be a wellspring to Elliot Cadeau, who has suffered for not having more willing perimeter shooters around him.

Bilodeau was a matchup nightmare for the diminutive UNC front line. When Jalen Washington was brought in, he couldn't help but foul Bilodeau, who graciously left four points off the scoreboard from the free throw line. A big like Bilodeau would take so much pressure off UNC's beleaguered backcourt.
