Elliot Cadeau was able to put behind a muted performance against Duke to run the Tar Heel offense brilliantly against Notre Dame. Fighting Irish around the world are no doubt sick of seeing Cadeau, after he beat them with a four-point play in South Bend, and now after he orchestrated Carolina's offense beautifully.

He had 10 assists (five in the first ten minutes of play) against just two turnovers. Both RJ Davis and Cadeau were guilty of some poor turnovers while trying to force the ball inside on rolls with Ven-Allen Lubin, but you couldn't blame them for trying. Lubin was eating up smaller Irish defenders on switches, and scored 17 points on eight made baskets.

Cadeau's only basket was a well-taken three pointer, his only attempt from distance in the game. This is the kind of game that UNC usually wins comfortably. Cadeau didn't need to attack the basket much, because his teammates were scoring so easily. Withers and RJ Davis were hitting plenty of threes, and Lubin was dominating the inside. If Cadeau just has to find them for buckets, the Tar Heels will be in good shape against Wake Forest.
