Need more from Kyan Evans
The UNC basketball program has been synonymous with point guard production in the Hubert Davis era, particularly scoring. So the offense feels like it's missing some juice when the lead guard isn't leading the charge.
Colorado State transfer Kyan Evans gets the nod at point guard, but in the two exhibition games, has failed to eclipse double-digits. His minutes aren't high either, compared to the other starters. He only played 19 minutes against WSSU, even though he didn't get into early foul trouble like he did against BYU.
Seth Trimble will do Seth Trimble things for Carolina this season, but he shouldn't be burdened with running the team, that's not his strength. Let's see if Kyan Evans can give UNC a little more when the regular season begins.
