Luka's Re-emergence
Speaking of starting line-up shenanigans, ever since Luka Bogavac was taken out of the starting line-up, he's seen a quiet uptick in performance. In the games against Stanford and Cal, he's averaged 20 minutes per game and 10 points per game. This is the type of contribution that Wilson and Veesaar need when they're doing the heavy lifting.
Bogavac is still guilty of letting it fly a little earlier in the shot clock than Hubert Davis would like, but you know what he's doing when he's shooting the ball too early? He's shooting the ball. Jarin Stevenson was 0-for-1 against Cal. A starter going scoreless in a game obviously isn't great, but going shotless? Almost unforgivable.
Stevenson's defensive versatility hasn't been on display lately, either. He's getting worked a bit, delivering a team-worst -16 +/- rating against the Golden Bears. He also had a nonsense offensive foul to get the game started.
I don't think that Bogavac needs to replace him in the starting line-up just yet, but Stevenson needs to get out of his funk quickly.
