Secondary in Shambles

Three Belichicks have their hands in UNC's secondary, and it might be the worst part of the team.

Clemson averaged 13.3 yards per completion, a good stat made even more painful when you take into account Cade Klubnik's 22 for 24 effort throwing the ball against UNC's hapless defense. He had an outstanding quarterback rating of 235.6. If he played North Carolina every week, he'd easily still be in the Heisman conversation. Mercifully, Dabo Swinney called off the dogs in the third quarter, and UNC wasn't blasted as hard by Clemson's two other quarterbacks.

The secondary is bad. They can't make tackles. They aren't getting turnovers. They give up chunk plays. They leave huge amounts of space underneath for receivers to run into. This is exascerbated by their inability to tackle. Worst of all? This performance came after a bye week. What is getting fixed?
