The UNC football program continues to stack losses, but trust me, this was better than the previous three.

It doesn't feel like it, but this may actually be a step in the right direction.

The UNC football program lost another game to a P5 opponent, making it a perfect 4 for 4 on the season, but they only lost by three points. Their previous three losses were by multiple touchdown margins. This is progress.

But the despair of annihilation without a hint of resistance has been replaced by the devastation of failed execution down the stretch in a game that could have been won. I know what position I'd rather be in. Let's dive into some lessons learned from a close loss at Cal.
