Seth Trimble makes Darryn Peterson earn every point

Darryn Peterson is the real deal. Make no mistake. I was amazed watching him operate against North Carolina. He's definitely a top pick in next year's NBA Draft. But he's going to sleep like the dead tonight thanks to Seth Trimble.

Peterson scored 22 points on 8 for 14 shooting, but had to make some tough shots with Trimble chasing him all over the floor. Look at this shot he hit with Trimble right in his grill:

I don't know if Seth Trimble will become an NBA player, but with all the scouts in the Dean Dome watching Darryn Peterson, Trimble may have given himself a shot to stick on a roster as a feisty defender who can attack in transition. Surely there's room for him on a roster to chase a Steph Curry type and hold him to 20 points instead of 30.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of sustained we see out of Trimble when he can harrass players his size instead of bigger forwards like he had to last season.
