Lessons Learned as UNC basketball gets an academic win over USC Upstate

The UNC basketball program was back in action after a six-day break for fall semester exams. The Tar Heels played USC Upstate for the first time ever, and while the game was never in doubt, the Spartans kept UNC from putting up a big cushion until the end of the second half.

Hubert Davis won't pop any champagne bottles after watching this game, but there are some positive signs to go along with the issues that need work. And don't forget, every day brings us closer to the return of Seth Trimble.
