The UNC basketball program put the pain of their midweek battering at NC State in the rearview mirror on Saturday afternoon. They took the long flight to chilly Syracuse to take on an Orange squad that they previously dispatched, but not without some fuss. In Chapel Hill with Caleb Wilson, the Tar Heels were at times beating Syracuse by 32, but only ended up winning by 10.

This time around, Wilson missed the game with his broken left hand, but Henri Veesaar returned from a two-game absence that was felt by the team down to its foundation. Veesaar looked out of tip-top shape, but did have a noticeable effect on the game.

Let's dive into some lessons learned as UNC beat Syracuse on the road.
