Henri Veesaar arrived in North Carolina thanks to the advice of Caleb Love and now the incoming big man is excited to start running the floor with 5-star freshman Caleb Wilson.
During his introductory press conference, Veesaar said that he already knew Wilson was a great athlete, but his vision and overall court acumen have been a great surprise.
Caleb Wilson made it absolutely clear about how he feels about North Carolina's biggest rivals, especially that team from down the road in Durham.https://t.co/LTFfbd3ZiX

"I knew he was a great player, but his ability to read a game and how great of a passer he is, I had no clue about. And in the first couple of practices I was in awe," Veesaar said. "He was throwing me lobs and on fast breaks he would push the ball and give you a bounce pass. He really plays like a wing or a guard that's supposed to be a playmaker because he would push the ball and throw it ahead. He's really good at it. That's probably the biggest surprise I had about him."
It's just another aspect of Wilson's game that should have Tar Heel nation excited to see the 6-foot-10 forward unleashed this season. Veesaar believes that their offensive games can complement each other because they can both move around on the floor.
"I think [I'm] going to have a good connection with Caleb as bigs," Veesaar added. "We can see each other moving around and see where the open spaces are. I think we're going to have a very efficient offense."
A frontcourt to be feared
With more bigs on the roster this season, Hubert Davis is going to have a lot of flexibility in the lineups he wants to deploy. Veesaar said that there will be occasions where he's on the floor with Wilson and Jarin Stevenson, giving UNC one of the biggest front lines in the country.
"We've had that lineup multiple times in practice. It's a very tall lineup, but it works great because it has mismatches," Veesaar said. "Defensively, you have great rim protection with us three on the court, and you don't really compromise any shooting because all of us can make it."
