While he may no longer be in Chapel Hill, that doesn't mean that North Carolina fans don't follow quarterback Drake Maye pretty closely. He's coming off a fantastic first year in the pros with the New England Patriots and he's ready for another impressive fall and winter in 2025.

He'll be getting ready to take the field knowing that a stud blocker will be on the way ready to keep him on his feet. With the No. 4 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected standout offensive tackle Will Campbell out of LSU.

Right after he was selected by the Pats, Campbell jumped on with ESPN for an interview and he was overcome with emotion. While fighting back tears, he thanked LSU for getting him ready for this moment, while making it clear he'll give his all to the Pats. Maye was watching closely at home, letting Campbell know he can't wait to suit up with him:

Campbell will surely be seeing this Maye tweet soon and it's only going to make things better for him. Imagine having your dreams come true and then a stud quarterback like Maye, who doesn't post on social media often, says that he already loves you and that he's jacked up over the front office's call.

Yeah, Campbell is going to be smiling from ear to ear. At the same time, while Campbell showcased his soft side, there's no question that he plays with a mean streak and he's going to give pass-rushers all kinds of issues moving forward now that he's New England-bound.

Mike Vrabel is getting ready for his first season as head coach of the Patriots and he's got some exciting pieces to build around. The list of course includes Maye, who tossed for 2,276 yards and 15 touchdowns last campaign.

Campbell is yet another exciting youngster who will be making plays for New England and Maye couldn't be happier that the LSU product will be sharing a locker room with him moving forward. This feels like a big-time get for the AFC East side, no doubt.
