Former UNC basketball guard Coby White has already made history by becoming the first Chicago Bull since Michael Jordan to receive back-to-back Player of the Week awards. He has continued his outstanding success by having the record for most three-pointers made in a single season in franchise history.

White was a stellar guard for former head coach Roy Williams during his only season in Chapel Hill, but he has gone above and beyond what he showcased during his college days. He continues to put in the time and effort each offseason to up his skill set.

During the 2023-2024 season, White broke Zach LaVine's previous record of 204 threes made, but he has clearly outdone himself.

Overall, White has been averaging 20.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 45.1% from the field. His number from beyond the arc stands at 36.9%, and his free throws are at 89.6%.

The Bulls have won three out of their last five games, defeating the Portland Trailblazers, Toronto Raptors, and Los Angeles Lakers, but they have also lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks.

Fortunately, Billy Donovan's team has clinched a spot in the play-in game for the third straight season — an opportunity to reach the NBA Finals and win the Larry O'Brien Trophy is not an easy task, considering how tough the Eastern Conference is. And for what it's worth, the Western Conference consists of elite teams, too.

The NBA Playoffs do not begin until April 19 of this month, so there's plenty of time to continue building and creating momentum heading into the postseason.

White will be a crucial part of the team's success moving forward, as his shooting abilities gave the organization a chance to succeed and go further than what fans may have expected.
