The long wait for the UNC basketball team to host Kansas is almost over. We've got a Top 25 battle on the way and the No. 25 Tar Heels want to send a statement against the No. 19 Jayhawks. And for this matchup, 5-star phenom Caleb Wilson wants fans to band together inside of the Dean Dome.
Caleb Wilson has one request for UNC fans ahead of Kansas game
In case you missed it, Wilson urged the UNC faithful to showcase a 'white out' for the matchup against Kansas. However, news broke that the Heels were going to give away 2,500 blue shirts to the first set of fans who made their way to the Dean Smith Center.
This caused a ton of confusion, as everyone thought they were supposed to wear white and nothing else. Well, leave it to Wilson to clear things up, as he delivered another passionate message to everyone, leaving no doubt that it's a white out and the free shirts will be saved for a different occasion:

There you have it. Wilson asked for this and he's gotten the news that he wanted. How will the UNC faithful respond? If we had to guess, it'd be by giving the true freshman exactly what he's hoping for. The energy in Chapel Hill tomorrow is going to be off the charts and people can't wait for this one to get started.
In the season-opener, Wilson was fantastic, leading the way with his 22 points. That came in a win over Central Arkansas, but now the first real test of his young career will arrive with the Jayhawks hoping to silence the Heels and slow down the Wilson hype train.
