In the blink of an eye, UNC basketball has gone 4-0 to start the season and the vibes have been fantastic surrounding this team. However, things were far from perfect earlier this week when the Tar Heels took care of business against Navy.

To close out the action, Navy actually went on a 15-0 run, with the Tar Heels looking a bit sluggish on both ends of the floor. It was disappointing to see and there ended up being a players-only meeting after the final whistle to address things.

No one was happy with the performance in the second half, including 5-star talent Caleb Wilson. The fantastic freshman scored 23 points and added 11 rebounds, but he didn't mince words when asked about the team's performance as a whole. Nope, Wilson knows that UNC simply has to be better:

The fact that Wilson was so ticked off after the final whistle is a good thing. With North Carolina being 4-0 and him being off to his dream start, it'd be easy for UNC to just celebrate the hot start and enjoy its undefeated record. However, that's not going to cut it.

Wilson and his teammates understand that the kind of mental mistakes that were made against Navy are not going to be something they can get away with once ACC play gets here. Think UNC can be sloppy in a showdown with Duke? Forget about it.

Through four games, Wilson is averaging 20.6 points and 10 rebounds per game. He has people on campus jacked up with his electric play, with his head-turning dunks being showcased quite consistently in Chapel Hill this fall.

As great as that has been, Wilson understands that things are about to start getting much more difficult for him and his teammates moving forward. UNC can't take its foot off the gas in games in the way it did vs. Navy. Luckily, the players are holding themselves accountable, which is a major plus for Hubert Davis and his coaching staff.
