UNC Football: Uniform Reveal Week 12 Versus NC State

What uniform will the Tar Heels wear as the UNC Football program prepares for its final game of the 2023 regular season with a matchup against NC State?

We have arrived at the final weekend of the 2023 regular season for the UNC Football program, and with that comes the final uniform reveal. This one is a Thanksgiving Edition uniform reveal from the UNC Football social media team.

First, let’s start by saying that the rivalry matchup between North Carolina and NC State is one that both fanbases look forward to every year, and both programs should do what is right when it comes to putting together the best uniform combination.

This is how it should be. Both teams representing their school colors with an all-color rush uniform clash. However, while we are unaware of what the Wolfpack will wear on Saturday night, the Tar Heels revealed their uniform just before we sat down to eat our turkey and let us know we will have to wait another year for this uniform clash between rivals.

The UNC Football program will give us another first-time uniform combination in the 2023 season. The Tar Heels will be in blue helmets, white jerseys, and blue pants for the first time since 2022, when they traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia, a game the Tar Heels beat the Cavaliers, 31-28.

Since Mack Brown’s return in 2019, the Tar Heels have worn the blue/white/blue combination a total of seven times, compiling a 5-2 overall record.

North Carolina and NC State both enter Saturday night’s matchup with an 8-3 overall record. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 PM on the ACC Network.
