As we celebrate Thanksgiving today, here are some people that North Carolina Tar Heels fans should be thankful for this year.

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year that allows us to recognize the things and people in life that we should be thankful for. As a North Carolina Tar Heels fan, we should take the time to acknowledge the special Tar Heels in Chapel Hill who deserve to know we are thankful for them.

Of course, we should always be thankful every day throughout the year, but sometimes, life gets in the way, and we don’t always take the time we should to thank those special people in our lives. While most fans are aware of these special Tar Heels, they may not always show their appreciation.

We are thankful for all of our Tar Heels; however, these few hold a special place in our hearts for what they have done during their short time in the Southern Part of Heaven, and we will remember and be thankful for them for a very long time.
