Miami to Beat Louisville

Louisville holds a one-game lead in the win-loss column on UNC Football and only has one game remaining in conference play thanks to their end-of-season cross-conference rivalry with in-state opponent Kentucky.

The Cardinals will travel south to face the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday at 12:00 PM. So this time, it is for real; the Tar Heels could potentially be eliminated before they kick off against the Tigers on Saturday afternoon. Not only do the Tar Heels need the Cardinals to drop a game to tie them due to tiebreaker scenarios, but Miami also needs to win out in order to end in a three (or more) way tie with Georgia Tech.

That big win over the Hurricanes a month ago in Chapel Hill could be one of the key differences in determining who will join Florida State next month if everything does fall in line the way the Tar Heels need it to.

We aren’t going to look too much ahead to next week, as this is a cheering guide for this weekend, and a lot has to happen, but Miami will also need to win out and beat Boston College on Black Friday in Chestnut Hill.
