The UNC Football program returns home this weekend to meet Syracuse on the gridiron. What will the Tar Heels wear on Saturday afternoon?

Last week was the only bye week of the season for UNC football, which meant no weekly uniform reveal on Thursday.

We’re back this week as the Tar Heels begin a stretch of three consecutive home ACC games. That stretch begins on Saturday at 3:30 PM against the 4-1 Syracuse Orange. So far this season, we’ve seen four different uniform combinations from the Tar Heels, and it appears that this weekend will be no different.

First, I love the creative social media reveals – every week, the UNC Football social media team never fails to disappoint and makes this fun. The Tar Heels will be wearing white helmets for the third time this season, but it will be the first time in 2023 that we see the White Helmet/Blue Uniform/Blue Pants combo from the Tar Heels.

The last time North Carolina went White/Blue/Blue was in 2022 when they hosted the Virginia Tech Hokies in Chapel Hill, a 41-10 Tar Heel victory. That is also the only time in the Mack Brown 2.0 Era that UNC Football has worn this specific combo since 2019.

Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30 PM EST in Kenan Stadium for the second ACC game of the season for UNC football, and broadcast information on ESPN can be found here.
