The North Carolina Tar Heels and… Drake? The two are set to partner up for an apparel line debut at the end of this month.

Yes, you read that correctly. The North Carolina Tar Heels are partnering with Drake.

No, not UNC football quarterback Drake Maye… the rapper Drake and his apparel line October’s Very Own.

October’s Very Own announced late Tuesday afternoon that they had partnered with select NCAA Colleges on a limited edition collection line. Those select schools include the North Carolina Tar Heels and several other college “Blue Bloods,” including Alabama, Kentucky, Texas, and Memphis.

October’s Very Own has partnered with organizations and franchises in the past, but they have never ventured into the collegiate world. They currently are partnered with the NBA, NFL, MLS, and Toronto-based teams, the Toronto Raptors, Scarborough Shooting Stars, and the University of Toronto. Since Drake is from Toronto, naturally, the last three make sense for his apparel line to partner with them.

This is exciting news from Drake and October’s Very Own to partner with a high-profile national brand such as the North Carolina Tar Heels. The newly announced collegiate line is set to debut on Friday, September 29th. Click here to grab your October’s Very Own North Carolina Tar Heels gear.
