A former UNC football player and professional athlete will be the star of a new television series with the Weather Channel Network.

Former UNC football player Tre Boston has been relatively busy since graduating from the Tar Heels and entering the NFL Draft back in 2014.

Boston was a fourth-round draft pick to the Carolina Panthers. During his NFL career, he spent time with three teams, the Chargers, the Cardinals, and the Panthers (twice; 2014-2016 and 2019-2020).

While with the Panthers he got the privilege of playing in Super Bowl 50 against the Denver Broncos. Following his NFL career, UNC football fans have been able to find Boston on the ACC Network show “ACC PM,” and even more so during football season.

Now, after an original announcement in February, Boston and his wife Cierra will be the host of a new television series on the Weather Channel Network beginning this month.

Boston and his wife will be the new hosts of the TV Series “FAST: Home Rescue” heading into its second season. The show debuted last year with Cody, brother of Paul Walker, and Felicia Walker.

Now in season two, it’s the Bostons’ turn. The show is built around Tre and Cierra restoring homes that have been destroyed by severe weather in just a quick five-day period.

You can be sure to catch the former UNC football player and his wife during this entertaining show every Sunday beginning June 18th on the Weather Channel!
