North Carolina basketball has produced some of the NBA’s top talent, but there are some misses who have come out of the Tar Heels program as well.

The NBA Draft is just over two months away and sixty basketball players will hear their names called as their dreams come true.

It’s an honor and a privilege for anyone to be selected in the NBA Draft, but it’s by no means any indication of future success. There have been numerous NBA players who starred or were fantastic players who went undrafted.

The opposite is even truer: there is a long line of highly-drafted NBA prospects that never worked out and remain draft busts. Each franchise is adding a couple of names to their rotations but there are only so many minutes to go around after all.

There’s no strict definition of what makes a draft bust, but for our purposes, it’s players taken in the first round who failed to live up to expectations or didn’t perform at the big level. Different interpretations could’ve led to different inclusions on the list. Let’s just get into the ten who made this unfortunate cut.
