Baseball – The Diamond Heels started their week with a mid-week win over Queens. We recapped that win here. The Tar Heels then headed into the weekend with a big home ACC series against Miami. Unfortunately, they lost two of three to the Hurricanes and were only able to pick up one win. You can view the full recap of the weekend series here.

Men’s Lacrosse – The Tar Heels continued their ACC losing streak against Syracuse last week dropping to the Orange 15-14 in the final minutes. UNC is now 7-5 overall and 1-3 in the conference with two games remaining in the regular season, both against Notre Dame.

Women’s Lacrosse – Carolina has been known to have some great women’s lacrosse teams over the years. Unfortunately, this team has struggled against other top teams in the country this year. UNC started the week with a 12-9 win at East Carolina before coming home for a top-five matchup with no. 1 and undefeated Syracuse. It was back and forth in Chapel Hill on Saturday afternoon, but the Orange were able to hold off the Tar Heels by a score of 14-12 and stay undefeated.

Men’s Tennis – UNC wrapped up the final week of the regular season with two home wins, including one on Senior Day. Carolina beat both ACC teams from the state of Florida, Florida State (4-1) and Miami (4-2) on the final weekend. The Tar Heels will now advance to the ACC Tournament and receive a double-bye into Friday as the no. 4 seed where they will face no. 5 FSU, no 12. Clemson or no.13 Boston College at 3:30 PM.

Women’s Tennis – The No. 1 Tar Heels completed the regular season with an undefeated 27-0 record and 13-0 ACC record after beating no. 3 ranked rival Duke on Friday by the score of 4-1. Carolina will now head into the ACC Tournament as the no. 1 overall seed. They will receive a double-bye and face the winner of the 8/9 match between Notre Dame and Wake Forest on Friday at 10 AM.
