Former UNC Basketball small forward Dontrez Styles has announced he will visit another school before committing to his next school.

First reported by Jamie Shaw with On3 Sports, Dontrez Styles isn’t finished visiting schools. Styles became the third Tar Heel to announce he was transferring from the UNC basketball program on March 17th. Since then, he has heard from a long list of schools, including rival NC State where he took a visit a few weeks ago.

Styles has now decided to visit Georgetown on Thursday when the current dead period ends before officially making a decision on where he will continue his career next Sunday, April 9th.

Former Providence head coach, Ed Cooley, was announced as the head coach of Georgetown in March and has already been able to sign some recruits, including flipping a commit from his former school, Providence.

Almost, if not all, Tar Heel fans would prefer to see Styles in the Big East next year rather than twenty-five miles away from Chapel Hill at rival NC State. Seeing a player leave your favorite team to play for a hated rival is gut-wrenching and when that same player is from your state, it can hurt even more.
