UNC Basketball lost a critical game last night to Miami 80-72 at the Smith Center. Tar Heel alumni Tyler Hansbrough shared his thoughts.

The day after the Tar Heels lost a critical game to Miami, fans have taken to Twitter to share their frustration and thoughts. Throughout the day, many of the trending topics have been “Tar Heels” and “Hubert Davis.”

Former Tar Heel legend Tyler Hansbrough joined The Field of 68 Podcast today to give his thoughts as well.

Like much of the feedback on Twitter today, Hansbrough does not like what he sees in the body language of the players. He also questioned the shot selection and lack of sharing the ball.

"Tonight when I’m actually watching the game, I thought they had awful shot selection and I’ve always said when this team shares the ball, and they’re getting high assists, they can play with anybody. It just looked like they were going to stand around the perimeter and force feed the ball to Armando."

That is the consensus with most fans as well. Many are questioning everything from shot selection to player rotations and playing time. The bottom line is that the fan base is frustrated and apparently, so are former players. I would imagine the current players are as well.

There is no question that when the Tar Heels move and share the ball, they play at their best. When things break down and get stale, it plays directly into the plans of the other team.

"It just seemed like Miami had prepared to load up the paint for Armando just expecting the ball to go inside."

Head Coach Hubert Davis mentioned that in his postgame comments as well.

There are a few days to figure some things out before they visit NC State this weekend.
